📝 Job Description – Safety Associate Trainee
IQVIA is hiring Safety Associate Trainees in Kolkata to review, assess, and process safety data from various sources. This role is ideal for fresh graduates aiming to begin their career in Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Drug Safety.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- ✔ Process safety data as per regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and project protocols.
- ✔ Conduct pharmacovigilance activities including:
- Collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs)
- Determining initial vs. follow-up event status
- Database entry, AE coding, product coding, and narrative writing
- Literature-based case handling
- ✔ Ensure 100% quality and compliance.
- ✔ Participate in team meetings and offer feedback.
- ✔ Manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Skills
✅ Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Healthcare field
- Freshers can apply! (No prior experience required)
✅ Required Skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team player with the ability to work independently
