🧬 Key Responsibilities
- Extract and index biological sequences (nucleic acid/amino acid) from patents using tools and databases.
- Manually curate claimed sequences and sequence fragments per global editorial guidelines.
- Achieve weekly targets for volume, quality, and abstracting consistency.
- Use NCBI Taxonomy and PubMed for sequence validation and indexing accuracy.
- Ensure safe workplace practices and meet compliance protocols.
✅ Eligibility & Skills
- Master’s degree in Biotech, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry.
- Freshers with basic patent knowledge can apply. 1–2 years' experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and handling TIFF/PDF files.
- Familiarity with scientific databases (NCBI, PubMed).
- Attention to detail, consistency, and ability to meet indexing targets.
