About MPSC & FDA Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts recruitment for various government positions across the state. The FDA is responsible for regulating drugs, food, and cosmetics in Maharashtra, ensuring public health and safety.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Inspect drug manufacturing and sale premises
• Ensure compliance with Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940
• Collect drug samples for laboratory testing
• Investigate cases of spurious and substandard drugs
• Report violations and take corrective action

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational: Degree in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology
• Age Limit:
  • Open: 18–38 years
  • Reserved/EWS/Orphan: Up to 43 years
  • PwD: Up to 45 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service + 3 years
• PwD Categories Allowed: Low Vision, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Orthopedic Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Dwarfism, Leprosy Cured, etc.
