📄 Pharmacovigilance Intern – Job Overview
- Manage pharmacovigilance mailboxes: triage client communication and safety reports.
- Perform duplicate searches and initial book-in of cases.
- Enter key case details (patient, drug, adverse event) into Argus safety database.
- Assist with case processing, MedDRA coding, and narrative writing.
- Support ICSR management to meet regulatory timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely adverse event reporting.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Medicine (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Sc, B.Sc).
- Basic exposure or training with Argus database is preferred.
- Understanding of pharmacovigilance principles (ICSRs, MedDRA, timelines).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and good computer skills.
- Strong written & verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
