Baxter is hiring a Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PV) Specialist for its Gurgaon, Haryana location.

This role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, patient care, or pharmaceutical safety who want to grow in global drug safety and regulatory compliance.

You will gain exposure to adverse event reporting, ICSR processing, medical narrative writing, and global safety regulations.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

Process adverse event reports from all sources with full data entry and review
Assess seriousness, expectedness, causality, and outcome of events
Select correct suspect drugs within the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS)
Write clear and comprehensive medical narratives
Code medical terms using standardized dictionaries such as MedDRA
Request case investigations and follow up with reporters
Coordinate with local affiliates and cross-functional teams
Perform quality checks and case clean-up for aggregate reporting
Ensure compliance with global and regional safety regulations

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D
BSc / MSc – Life Sciences
Nursing or equivalent healthcare qualification
2–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, hospital, or patient care settings
Good knowledge of PV safety systems and case processing workflows
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently under deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong quality and compliance focus
